This is a new site that we are testing
We are redesigning and improving the Cumbria County Council website which is why these new pages are different.
The role of a coroner is to get involved when someone has died through tragic or unexplained circumstances, establishing certain details surrounding their death. Find out more about their role, current and upcoming inquests and how to contact the service.
The easiest way to contact us is to email hmcoroner@cumbria.gov.uk.
You can also phone us on 0300 303 3180, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
